We uniquely combine real-time 3D web-based simulation technologies, mixed reality, remote collaboration, and also artificial intelligence or 3D printing for predictive and personalized surgery. For this ambitious mission, our quality management system is certified according to ISO 13485 and we obtained our first U.S. market authorization in December.

Your missions

To ensure that the next challenges rhyme with success, the R&D team is looking for its future Technical Leader Back. You will be directly supported by Etienne, our Medical Software Architect.

Your missions will be the following:

• Contribute to the definition of the back-end architecture of software applications developed by Abys Medical.
• Ensure the design, development and code reviews within the back-end applications.
• Contribute to the technical documentation for the certification of medical devices (European and North American standards).
• Act as a technical advisor to the developers.

You will be fully involved in the design of software solutions in direct exchange with the project manager.

Your profile

The basic ingredients

• You have a degree in computer science (Bac +5).
• You have a minimum of 5 years experience in IT development.
• You have a strong knowledge of backend development, API Rest and databases.
• You know how to code in TypeScript.
• You are fluent in professional English.

• You have an excellent capacity for analysis and synthesis.
• You are dynamic, reactive and have a strong sense of initiative.
• You are comfortable making decisions.
• You like teamwork and you know how to motivate the people you work with.

• You have experience in setting up a microservices architecture.
• You master NodeJS & Express.
• You are interested in team management.
